collect hair into ponytail on back of head. Secure with an elastic band.

Use a long tailed comb to split ponytail in middle above elastic band.

Use fingers to make a small opening above ponytail.
Lift ponytail upward.

Push elastic band and ends down into opening if they are showing. Use bobby pins above elastic band and underneath hanging tuck to secure.

Tuck entire ponytail down into opening. Pull half of ponytail through opening.
