This style is created with two Four Strand Braids that meet and form one braid in back. Hair has been prepared before braiding by using gel or mousse and scrunching under a diffuser.

Take a 3" part of hair from
behind left ear. Braid -1/4 of
part into the Four Strand Braid. Secure with clip or an elastic band.

Take a 3" part of hair from
above right ear. Braid 3/4 of
part into the Four Strand Braid. Secure with a clip or an elastic band.

Wrap braids around back of head. Place two braids side by side, making sure braids are the same length.

Remove clips or elastic bands. Combine unbraided parts of hair and continue with the Four Strand Braid.
Secure braid with an elastic band or a barrette.
