French Braid Alternative style
| This braid can be used anywhere a French Braid is used. The strands on this braid always cross under the center part. | |

collect a part j of hair at top of head and seperate collected hair into three even parts. |

Cross right part under center: part. Pull center part all the way to the right. |

|
Pull left part under new center part. Pull center part all the way to the right. |
|
|
Pull a small strand from right side of head and add it to right part. Cross right part under center part. Pull center part all the way to the right. |

|
Pull a small strand of hair from left side of head and add it to left part. Cross left part under center part. Pull center part all the way to the left. |

|
Repeat steps 3-5 until all hair has been added into braid. Proceed with the Basic Braid , continuing to cross hair under center part. Secure with an elastic band. |
