The Basic Braid is the foundation for all braids. Ponytail is the common postition it strats from. For someunique braiding styles it can start elsewhere too.

seperate hair into three even parts.

Cross left part over center part, making it the new center part.

Cross right part over center, making it the new center part.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until braid reaches desired length. Secure with an elastic band.
