How to French Braid

The French Braid is like the Basic Braid, except that hair is gradually added into the three parts. |

|
collect a part of hair at top of head and seperate collected hair into three even parts. Cross right part over center part. Cross left part over new center part making one basic braid. |

Pull a small strand of hair from right side of head and add it to right part of braid. Cross right part over center part. Pull center part all the way to the right. |

|
Pull a small strand of hair from left side of head and add it to left part of braid. Cross left part over center part. Pull center part all the way to left. |
|
|
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all hair has been added into the braid. Continue with the Basic Braid . Secure with an elastic band. |
