Hairstyling tips

  • Hair styling is integral to good looks, and adds to your confidence. Good and bad hair days are in the mind… if you think positively you have a good day and therefore a good hair day. That is why my definition for hair styling is: look good, feel good.
  • A simple styling tip for girls is — don’t be fussy with the length, trust your hair designer to give you a style which is meant for you alone.
  • If you want curls, keep the hot rollers and curling iron to a minimum. Use sponge covered rollers when the hair is still damp for a temporary look. It is harmless to your hair, and much better than a perm, which can damage your hair.
  • If you feel you must change your natural colour, then make sure you take proper precautions. Hair experts recommend a good consultation with your hair stylist, as hair colours have strong chemicals.
  • Bonus Tips…
  • After being in a swimming pool, if you cannot wash your hair immediately, at least rinse it out with non-chlorine water thoroughly.
  • Use Jojoba and/or Rosemary oil on the hair to keep it healthy or shiny when it is dry and dull.
